If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide or homicide please call 911!!!! I am NOT a crisis counselor nor am I available 24/7.

CANCELLATIONS:

Therapy is an investment and for some, a long term commitment. I understand that life happens and things come up. However, I have a strict NO SHOW/ 24hour cancellation policy. If you NO SHOW, you will be charged the entire amount of the session. If notify me that you need to cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours of your appointment time, you will be charged 50% of the session price. If you consecutively cancel or no show 2-3 appointments then you will be terminated from mental health services with Peace in Pearl’s Heart Counseling, PLLC. You will be unable to schedule appointments moving forward due to the inability to commit to therapy.

• All individual sessions are $150
• All family sessions are $150
• I DO NOT offer couples therapy or substance misuse treatment at this time.
• Sliding scale is available. Income verification required.

• All payments can be made online using the secure portal prior to the start of session.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

All therapy sessions are completely confidential. However, please understand that as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am a mandated reporter. This means that if I suspect or you or a loved one discloses information regarding abuse, neglect, suicidal or homicidal plans, I am required by law to report the suspected or disclosed abuse, suicide or homicide to the appropriate authorities. I believe in the power/importance of the therapeutic alliance between therapist and client. If I must report information I will do my best to notify client’s prior so that we can complete the process together if possible. PARENTS, please understand that the same confidentiality applies to your child. I am required to keep all session with your child confidential unless immediate/planned danger is suspected or disclosed. If you would like to know what your child is discussing in therapy, please facilitate that discussion with them. Again, I am bound by confidentiality. If your child would like to invite you to their therapy session that is welcomed, but completely up to them!
